We have a range of rewarding part time and casual opportunities to work as a Disability Support Worker within our Home and Living services in the Hunter region.
Providing services across Lake Macquarie and Central Coast, our Home & Living space operates on a 24/7 basis.
This role is ideal for those who have flexibility and availability to work mornings, afternoons and nights.
Our supports focus on building independent living skills enabling participants to achieve their goals.
Whilst each day brings new challenges, the general responsibilities include: Supporting with personal care to participants in their home.
Preparing and assisting with meal preparation.
Administering medication and offering mobility assistance.
Carrying out domestic duties.
Engaging in skill building activities, both individually and in a group setting.
Offering meaningful and active support for participants to achieve their goals at home and in the community.
To be successful for this position you must be available between 27 January and 7 February to attend paid onboarding training.
We also require a cleared NDIS Worker Screening Check, Working with Children Check and a valid Driver Licence.
What we will offer you The part time hourly rate is between $33.41 and $36.46, while the casual rate is between $41.76 and $45.58 (plus superannuation) depending on relevant experience and qualification.
