ACCORD CARE is trusted in the provision of person-centered disability support services to NDIS participants. We provide Supported Independent Living, In-home care, Community Participation, Short-Term Accommodation, Community Nursing, and Allied Health Services.
About the role We are looking for Disability Support Workers and Team Leaders in our supported independent living arrangements across multiple locations in suburbs of Melbourne, particularly in Reservoir and Frankston, and the city of Geelong, Victoria, to provide 24/7 support in the home and out in the community.
The support worker's role and responsibilities will include:
Supporting people with personal care and day-to-day activities in the home and out in the communityProviding positive behaviour support to our clientsCompleting appropriate documentation through shift notes, incident reporting, and data collectionContributing to the team's overall objective of providing the best outcomes for our clientsWorking with your team leader to implement and review plans around daily service provisionMaintaining a professional relationship with clients and adhering to the NDIS and company code of conductBeing responsive, reliable, and accountable to our clients and your teamWhat we offer: Part-time/Casual positionsCompetitive Pay Rates up to $44.39/hourWeekend Rate: up to $79.9011% super5 weeks Annual LeaveOnsite TrainingOpportunities for Career ProgressionQualification/Experience: Minimum Certificate III in Individual Support/Aged Care or Higher (or the ability to acquire an appropriate qualification)Mental Health ExperiencePrader-Willi syndrome experienceProblem-Solving SkillsChallenging Behavior ExperienceVerbal/Written Communication and Relationship Building SkillsIf you think this sounds like you, please apply!
