Who We Are: Hope Ability - Katherine, NT provides assistance to people living with disability to achieve their goals and independence in their daily life.
We provide required support in different settings, e.g.
SIL, Respite, employment, and secured care.

We are looking for support workers with experience working with challenging behaviour and higher support needs participants living with ABI, Intellectual Disability, ASD and Drug & Alcohol.
Preference is given to support workers with knowledge of mental health.

Assist our participants in achieving their goals Have cultural competencies to deliver appropriate support A Successful Support Worker with Hope Ability Will: Be available to work on a 24/7 rotating roster Possess a Current NT driving license and access to a car with comprehensive insurance Demonstrate a good understanding of the person-centred support approach or willingness to embrace this model of support Be comfortable supporting participants with intellectual and physical disabilities, higher medical needs and involvement with the justice system Thrive in a team-based environment where we work together to support the well-being of our participants Minimum Requirements: To work at Hope Ability, the successful applicant must undergo the NDIS Workers Check and Ochre Card and must have at least certificate III in individual support along with current first aid and CPR certificate.
