Disability Support Worker

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Disability Support Worker to support a private client in West Hobart, Tasmania.
As a casual Disability Support Worker, you will be responsible for providing personalized care and support, helping the client to live independently and participate actively in their community.
Shifts are available on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday 7.45am - 6.30pm.
Overnight shifts are also available.
What you'll be doing Assisting clients with daily living activities such as personal care, meal preparation, and household tasksFacilitating social and recreational activities to promote client wellbeing and community engagementAdhering to all relevant health, safety, and quality standards to ensure the safety and comfort of clientsWhat we're looking for Demonstrated experience in providing personalized care and support to individuals with disabilitiesStrong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with clients, families, and healthcare professionalsGenuine passion for making a positive difference in the lives of individuals with disabilitiesIntent to reside in Hobart for at least the next year.What we offer Highly competitive salary of $50/hrSupportive and friendly work environmentRegular and stable rostering.Training in personalised disability support.About the clientThe client is a young man in his thirties with a physical disability.
