Langford Support Services is looking for dedicated experienced Disability Support Workers to join our passionate team. This rewarding position works with our participants to support them to reach their goals and live their best lives. Langford's way of working puts the participant at the center of their own supports and services, enabling them to make informed choices, exercise control and maximise their independence. We help participants to navigate their NDIS plan, identify goals and aspirations and design supports that involve the right people.

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS: You must have the right to live and work in Australia.A Certificate III in Individual Support (Disability) or similar qualification or a willingness to undertake it.Previous experience in a disability support role is highly desirable.Current First Aid and CPR certification.NDIS Worker Screening Clearance.NDIS Worker Orientation Module.ALL other NDIS / online modules.National Police Check (less than six (6) months old).Relevant industry qualifications.100 points of identification.Flexibility to work various shifts (and sleepovers), including weekends and public holidays.Knowledge of Trauma-Informed Care is advantageous.Knowledge of the NDIS and the Quality and Safeguarding Framework and ideally experience working within the framework.Tasmanian Working with Vulnerable People (WWVP) Registration with an NDIS endorsement.Desirable but not essential: Nationally accredited Medication training certificate (desirable).Please note: The above requirements are based on participant-specific support.
