We are seeking Reliable, Enthusiastic, Motivated, and Professional Support Workers for our participant in Tweed Heads and Gold Coast. AM and PM ongoing shifts available. Building a new team of staff for the client. FEMALES ONLY As a Disability Support Worker, you will play an important role in assisting people to achieve their goals as specified in their NDIS plan.
As a Disability Support Worker and respected ambassador of McArthur, you will be required to assist people with:
Personal care - showering, dressing, groomingHousehold tasks - household cleaning and laundrySkill development - shopping, cooking, catching public transportTransport - transport to appointments and/or shoppingSocial & Community participation - engage in the community, meet peopleApplicants will require:
Relevant industry experience working with clients who have mental health and behaviour support plans/restrictive practices.Certificate III OR Cert IV in Individual Support; Disability or equivalentCurrent Working with Children Blue Card and NDIS Workers Screening Check or willing to obtainCurrent First Aid & CPR CertificatesMAYBO training preferable.Valid Driver's LicenseCovid and Flu vaccinationsMAYBO training and Behaviour Support/Mental Health experience will be beneficial.
