Everest Care is a National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) provider that offers disability support services to people living with a permanent or significant disability. We service all of Metropolitan Melbourne and Geelong and are quickly growing and expanding our services across all regions of Melbourne.
We are looking for an experienced Disability Support Worker to join our growing services, reporting to our Operations Team and working with our participants. Assisting clients in their homes and in the community around the Melbourne Suburbs, this role will suit those who are self-motivated, organized, and flexible.

The Disability Support Worker's responsibilities will include but are not limited to: Weekly attendance and providing support services to clientsCreating a positive client experience and adhering to NDIS compliance requirementsFirm understanding of the NDIS Code of Conduct, Incident Management, and Quality and Safeguards practice standardsHandling client issues/incident reporting to ensure they are managed in a timely and professional mannerUnderstanding client NDIS Plans, goals, and Care Plans to ensure shift tasks are metPersonal care, manual handling, and medication administrationTransporting clients to appointments and community access as per client requirementsSupporting a client-centric culture and proactive approachContributing to process documentation and continuous improvement activitiesRequirements: Must have evident experience in the Disability sector and the NDISFluent and strong verbal and written communicationUp-to-date First Aid & CPRValid Driver's LicenseOwn car with comprehensive insuranceCurrent Police CheckWorking With Children CheckNDIS Worker Screener CheckCOVID-19 Infection Control TrainingCOVID-19 Vaccination CertificateNDIS Module CertificateJob Type: Casual
Pay: $32.47 – $44.88 per hour
