Key ResponsibilitiesBuild meaningful connections with Participants and their families, understanding and supporting their unique needs, goals, and daily activities.Assist with daily living tasks including meal preparation, medication administration, dressing, household duties, showering, and toileting as per individual plans.Facilitate Participants' engagement in activities, outings, education, or employment aligned with their individual plans, including transportation.Record shift notes, case updates, incidents, and medication administration using BoraCare systems, ensuring timely and accurate documentation.Uphold a clean, safe, and hygienic environment, supporting cultural and religious needs, and participating in evacuation procedures as needed.Work collaboratively with colleagues and stakeholders, attending team meetings, core training sessions, and maintaining open communication.Follow protocols for incidents, near misses, and timesheets, providing feedback and reports to senior staff or management as required.Assist with planning, advocacy, and communication to ensure Participants' personal goals and well-being are prioritized.Qualification and Work ExperienceMinimum Certificate III in Disability Services or in a relevant field, or higher.Maintaining all Industry and organizational related mandatory clearances and training requirements.At least 12 months work experience in a similar field.Skills and RequirementsEmpathy and Compassion: Commitment to well-being and inclusion.Teamwork: Collaborative communication and fostering inclusivity.Cultural Competence: Providing culturally sensitive and accessible services.Adaptability: Flexibility in managing changing priorities.Professionalism: Upholding confidentiality and ethical conduct.Embrace and integrate BoraCare's Vision, Purpose and Values into your role.Comply with BoraCare's organizational conditions of employment, Code of Conduct, Standards & Policy, Procedure Practice Expectations.Adhere to legislative requirements applicable to the role, including but not limited to the Work Health and Safety Act, EEO Act, Children and Young People (Safety) Act 2017, and NDIS Code of Conduct.Complete Job-related Mandatory Training.Salary: $66,000 - $75,000
