We have new clients joining our community and are seeking passionate Disability Support Workers to join our growing team.

Now hiring Disability Support Workers to start on Monday, December 9th, in client homes across Armstrong Creek, Waurn Ponds, and Newcomb.
All training is provided before starting.
Is this role for you? You are driven to make a positive impact each day, building connections with clients to help them reach their goals.
You have an understanding of strategies that support positive behaviour and bring experience in overcoming challenges with calmness and respect.
While skills in areas like catheter care, hoist transfers, and pressure care are highly valued, they are not essential.
We provide training to equip you with the skills and knowledge needed to deliver client-centered support.
This includes medication administration training led by our clinical team, which includes both Enrolled Nurses (ENs) and Registered Nurses (RNs).

Show compassion, understanding, and truly listen to their needs.Use positive reinforcement to encourage and assist them in their daily activities.Take the time to learn about their favourite activities, whether it's watching a movie or enjoying a visit to a café.Empower them to plan and express their needs, ensuring their voices are heard and respected.Work and hours Based in Geelong, this is a casual position.
Most shifts are 8 hours long and you're matched to work with a client.Shifts are assigned to you on a fortnightly roster.
You can block out when you can't work, plus we get to know your preferences.A commitment of 20+ hours per week is needed, including evenings, weekends, sleepovers, and active nights.We value your time and skills so in return, we offer:

You'll ideally have 1-2 years' experience supporting the well-being and inclusion of people with disability.Effective written and verbal communication skills, particularly active listening.A minimum certificate III, diploma or qualification in disability or relevant area such as aged care, community services, or health.Relevant life or career experience – but mostly a passion for supporting people with disability!We encourage students and people changing careers to apply.Ready to apply?
