We are seeking individuals that are enthusiastic, caring, compassionate, respectful, and can complete personal care as well as domestic duties. The role will initially be offered on a casual basis. However, the opportunity for Permanent Part-Time may become available based on performance.QualificationsHave Individual Support (Disability) Certificate III or higher.Have experience working with people with disability who have support needs, particularly with mental health issues.Previous skills and qualifications in medication assistance and/or administration (HLTHPS006 - Assist Clients with Medication).Demonstrate an understanding of incident reporting, quality documentation, complaints handling, and complex behaviour strategic support.Demonstrate a positive attitude.Own a vehicle with comprehensive insurance and willingness to use it for work purposes.Current CPR & First Aid Certificate.Current Open Drivers Licence.Current Blue Card and NDIS Worker Screening Card.Assist Client with Medication Certificate HLTHPS 006 Certificate is highly recommendedExperience with Dementia Clients, Positive Behaviour Support and Epilepsy would be an advantage.Preferred SkillsPatient, flexible, and understandingInterpersonal and communication skillsSupportive and caring natureCommitment to the rights of people with disabilities to live dignified lives.Able to accept responsibilityAble to cope with the physical demands of the job.
