We are expanding our team and looking for a dedicated and experienced female Disability Support Worker with a nursing background to join our growing team. Key Responsibilities: Provide personal care, including showering, dressing, grooming, and medication assistance, according to individual care plans. Assist clients with mobility, transfers, and other manual handling tasks. Perform basic health monitoring, such as checking vital signs and wound care, as required by nursing training. Support clients with their daily activities, including meal preparation, household tasks, and social participation. Ensure the emotional and mental well-being of clients through empathetic support and companionship. Collaborate with healthcare professionals, case managers, and family members to ensure comprehensive care. Maintain accurate client records, including progress notes and incident reports. Qualifications and Skills: Cert III/IV in Disability, Aged Care, or equivalent. Nursing qualifications (RN or EN) or relevant nursing experience required. Previous experience in disability support or community care preferred. Current First Aid and CPR certifications. Manual handling and medication administration knowledge. A valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong understanding of cultural sensitivities and diverse client needs. Pay: $24.67 – $38.00 per hour
