A day in the life of a Residential Accommodation Disability Support Worker at Yooralla Working towards clients' goals Assisting with shopping, appointments, and events Meeting daily living and personal care needs, including assistance with meal preparation, personal hygiene, and mobility Qualifications and Requirements We're looking for people who are passionate, have a great attitude, and an eagerness to learn. You'll share Yooralla's values and have:
A positive approach, initiative, and self-motivation A commitment to empowering our clients to reach their goals and upholding quality and safeguards in your everyday work Effective communication skills, and good English literacy The ability to work collaboratively in a diverse team A willingness to support clients with personal care activities Australian Driver Licence The right to work in Australia The ability to obtain a First Aid and Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation certificate if you don't already have one A Certificate IV in Disability, relevant work experience, or an interest in community services is desirable. If you don't have these, Yooralla provides excellent training and support.
You will be subject to NDIS Worker Screening.
