To 'walk beside' the accommodation residents, empowering and supporting them to live as independently as possible; to access appropriate services; providing case management and care coordination as appropriate and as determined by each individual participant. The Supported Independent Living Service is funded by the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) The program creates personal lifestyle opportunities for people who have functional limitation resulting from impairment, by helping them to live as independently as they can, overcome social isolation and increase their connections to the community, within a strengths based environment.
