We are currently seeking Support Workers who are motivated and enthusiastic team players with 'can do' attitudes for casual positions within our Active Living Options team. Our programs at our two sites in Ballarat provide exciting group programs that support customers aged 6 to 65.
Our Disability Support Workers help people with a disability achieve their personal goals and aspirations. Assisting customers to actively participate within their local communities, you will directly support the wellbeing of your customers through understanding their needs, preferences, and interests.
Providing a range of support services including personal care, health, exercise, and community experiences, you will enable customers to live a quality life with dignity, respect, and social inclusion.
What we are looking for: Motivated and enthusiastic people who enjoy supporting othersAbility to work independently and as part of a teamCommitted to providing exceptional quality care to our customersGood communication skills both verbal and writtenCertificate III or IV in Individual Support/Home & Community Care/Disability is highly regarded (but not essential)Previous experience in a support worker position (or similar) or those currently studying is highly regarded.Be yourself! Our staff are as diverse as the people we supportOur programs run from 9am to 3pm, Monday to Thursday, and Friday from 9am to 1pm. We also run school holiday programs.
