Provide one-on-one support to individuals with disabilities in their homes or the community, with travel between clients and working short, split shifts required. Shifts fall between Monday to Sunday primarily between 7am to 6pm. Ability to work flexibly is required. No overnights or sleepovers required.

Support clients with daily personal care
such as bathing, shaving and toileting Provide medication assistance
and mobility assistance
by lifting, transferring and hoisting clients Follow person-centred active support plans and behaviour support plans
respectfully Help clients reach their goals through meaningful activities of their choice Track and document the changing needs of clients through thorough record-keeping
Build and maintain positive relationships with clients, their families and your team Advocate for client choice and control in a way that is safe and compliant
Skills & Experience
An unrestricted New South Wales driver's licence and access to a reliable vehicle Committed to work flexible work hours across the week, including public holidays Demonstrated ability to use basic technology and software on a mobile and desktop A current First Aid Certificate, which includes the course HLTAID003 or HLTAID011
Successful candidates will be required to clear all state-based probity checks; including but not limited to a National Criminal History Record Check and NDIS Worker Screening Check. Please note:To be considered for and appointed to a position at Life Without Barriers, you must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 with a minimum of two (2) doses or hold a valid medical exemption certificate, in accordance with Life Without Barriers Employee COVID-19 Vaccination Policy.
