Ellie Jane Support Services operate purely in the Ipswich Region. We are focused on and engaged with the Ipswich community and run regular activities and community events from our HUB in Ellenborough St.

Role Description Provide personal care, including continence care, mealtime management, and assistance with showering and dressingSupport daily activities and household chores, including light houseworkOffer social support to individuals with disabilities and those experiencing mental health challengesAssist people with physical and psycho-social disabilities to maintain independence at homeAccompany clients to community appointments, events and activitiesProvide therapy assistance to implement physical, speech, occupational, and psychological plans as directed by allied health teamsRegularly review and update care support plansMinimum Requirements: NDIS worker screening (Yellow card) and Blue cardFirst Aid and CPR certificatesA wide range of availability especially in the early mornings, afternoons and evenings.Past experience as a disability support worker or similar roleExperience working with people in a person-centered environment.Experience working with participants with autism, mental health or physical health challenges.Certificate III in Individual Support Disability/Aged Care or related studiesImportant Information: Ellie Jane Support Services would like to emphasise that this position is casual, with no guarantee of ongoing hours. We offer a wide range of shifts, including early mornings, late evenings, and sleepovers, operating 24/7. We encourage applicants with reasonable availability across these periods, as it helps us accommodate desired weekly hours. However, applicants with extremely limited availability or unwillingness to pick up additional shifts may not be the right fit for us.
