The role
We help people with disability become more independent, in their own homes and the community. This role has flexible shift times with 2-4hour time shifts, with not as high needs clients in their own homes so quite autonomous, it could suit school hours and occasionally take them out on social activities.
Active support:develop personal interests, provide personal care, transportation and coach independent living skills. Health support:administer and document medication and follow health support plans. Positive behaviour support:managebehaviour triggers and escalation. Safeguarding:ensure safety of you and the participant, documentation and reports. About you
Demonstrated motivation to work with people with disability. Mandatory Certificate 3 qualification or above. Experience with manual handling & wheelchair. Available to fulfill a rotating roster including weekends and overnights. NDIS Worker Check National Police Check. Driver's license. First aid certificate. Up to date Covid vaccinations.
