About the Role Various shift opportunities and locations including our Day Program Center, Supported Independent Living, Respites, In-home supports and Capacity Building programsDay to day care including personal care and In-Home assistanceCommunity Access and Transporting participants to appointmentsMaintain & Monitor Person Centered PlansDetailed documentation of shift notes keeping including incident reportingCommitment to ensure high level compliance with the National Quality and Safeguarding Framework (NQSF) and organisational policy and procedures when delivering all supports Flexibility to work shorter or longer shifts that meet the needs of our clients i.e., morning, day, afternoon, evening, night, sleepovers, active nights, weekend, public holidays.Skills and experience Ability to provide a person-centered approach that empowers the participant's independence and choice A genuine desire to provide quality care and enhance the lives of our ParticipantsGreat interpersonal and good communication skills Ability to use digital client and rostering management systemDeliver support duties involving the participant, including and not limited to personal care, transportation, assist in housework, community access and behavioral supportsReliable, positive and responsible attitude towards work and able to commit to published hours A commitment to embracing equality and diversity along with positively contributing to the workplace culturePrevious experience as a Support Worker (highly desirable)Certificate III in Individual Support or equivalent (highly desirable)Experience following policies, procedures in line with the NDIS Quality and Safety Practice Standards and Code of Conduct.Required Documents/Clearances Current First Aid CertificateCurrent Working with Children's Check and NDIS Worker Screening ClearanceCurrent National Police CheckCompletion of NDIS Commissions Mandatory Learning ModulesAustralian Driver's License and must have a reliable vehicle with comprehensive insurance with ability to travel and transport participants.Support workers can make a genuine and positive difference to an individual's life.
