About the role This is a challenging but rewarding opportunity for you to make a positive change in the lives of People with a Disability.
Working in a team, you will facilitate the delivery of quality services and achieve positive outcomes with service users in a positive and proactive environment.
You will be actively supporting their individual needs and creating a safe environment.
Key Responsibilities SIL: Supported Independent Living (SIL) is supporting people with disability in shared housing or in their own home, providing various supports including personal care and daily living assistance.
You can expect to work across a 24/7 roster.
Lifestyles: Provide one-on-one support to individuals with disabilities in their homes or the community, with travel between clients and working short, split shifts required.
May include personal care, meal preparation and transport.
Skills & Experience Unrestricted Australian Drivers LicenceCertificate III Individual Support, Disability or similarCurrent Provide First Aid CertificateTo be considered for and appointed to a position at Life Without Barriers, you must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 with a minimum of two (2) doses or hold a valid medical exemption certificate, in accordance with Life Without Barriers Employee COVID-19 Vaccination Policy.
You will be required to provide evidence of your vaccination status during the recruitment process.
Successful candidates will be required to clear probity checks including National Criminal History Record Check and Working with Children Check (where relevant to the role).
