Disability Support Worker. Casual - AlburyAbout the Role Join our team as a Disability Support Worker in Albury, where you'll provide tailored, person-centred care to individuals living with disabilities. We have vacancies in both our Supported Independent Living and Lifestyle Programs. Supported Independent Living (SIL) empowers individuals with disabilities to live autonomously in their own homes with active tailored supports. Our lifestyle shifts however focus more on community engagement, attending appointments, domestic assistance, and social outings.

Please note availability for sleepovers and active overnights is required for this position.
Key Responsibilities Duties include personal care, manual handling, medication assistance, and behaviour support, all with a focus on fostering independence and dignity.Follow person-centred active support plans and behaviour support plans with empathy, facilitating goal attainment through meaningful client-chosen activities to promote independence and well-being.Track and document clients' changing needs while fostering positive relationships with clients, families, and fellow team members, advocating for client choice and control with a focus on safety and compliance.Skills & Experience Hold an unrestricted New South Wales driver's licence and access to a reliable vehicleDemonstrated competency in basic technology usage on mobile and desktop platformsA current First Aid Certificate, which includes the course HLTAID003 or HLTAID011 or willingness to obtainSuccessful candidates will be required to clear all state-based probity checks; including but not limited to a National Criminal History Record Check and NDIS Worker Screening Check.
