We build teams around every client, depending on each person's needs and preferences. We partner with people with any type of disability who want to live independently in the community (and we love to make that happen!). That's why our assistants are so important.
Our clients may have physical disability, acquired brain injury, neurological conditions, intellectual disability or autism. We're honoured that many of our clients rely solely on InLife for their essential support needs. Nobody else. Just us.
Our teams are based in Melbourne, Geelong and regional Victoria, including Benalla, Wangaratta, Stawell and Bendigo.
To do a great job, you'll need: Good judgement and common sense, listening skills, a willingness to learn and a commitment to our valuesEnthusiasm and passion for supporting people with disabilities to live great livesExperience and skills supporting clients who can display Behaviors of Concern (BOC)Experience supporting clients with AutismExperience with high care needs including PEG feeding and hoist transfersHave great patience and be willing to put in the time and energy to build rapport with clientsCommitment to working with a care team approach, including guidance from professionals. For example, supporting our clients to complete a regular physiotherapy programFull drivers licence and be willing and comfortable with driving with the clientsWillingness to work varied shifts and to commit to ongoing shiftsShifts available for weekends and sleepovers **Please note - when you apply you will receive an email asking you for some further details - please look out for it!
As part of our recruitment process, certain checks will be undertaken with your permission, including an NDIS Worker Screening Check that you must have before you can start work.
