About You:
Hold a Certificate III in Community Services, Individual Support, Disabilities or similar
Australian Drivers Licence (P2 or higher)
NT Working with Children Check
NDIS Worker Check
Current First Aid & CPR certificate
The ability to work a mixture of day, night and weekend shifts as required

? Responsibilities: Your Responsibilities Will Include
Provide personal care and assistance with daily living activities to individuals with disabilities Foster a supportive and empowering environment that promotes independence and inclusion Assist clients in maintaining a clean and safe living space, including light housekeeping and meal preparation Support clients in accessing community resources, transportation, and social activities Administer medication and monitor health conditions, as directed by healthcare professionals Document and maintain accurate records of client progress, care plans, and any incidents Demonstrate sensitivity and respect for cultural diversity, personal preferences, and individual needs Communicate effectively with clients, their families, and the care team to ensure continuity of care Respond to emergencies and crisis situations with appropriate care and intervention Uphold ethical standards and maintain confidentiality regarding client information Adhere to health and safety regulations and guidelines to ensure the well-being of clients and yourself Provide emotional support and companionship, fostering a positive and nurturing relationship with clients
