Our programs support people with disability to build skills and capability to ensure they can participate in leading a meaningful life. Job Description We are looking for energised and engaging Disability Support Workers to join award winning Mercy Connect Limited. As a recipient of the Telstra Best of Business State Award- winning the Championing Health/Embracing Innovation we have new and exciting services and programs to offer people with disability. We are expanding and looking for enthusiastic and passionate individuals who have strong interest in working people with disability, including children and young adults. The Role: As a Disability Support Worker, you will assist people who have a disability with daily living tasks and community inclusion and participation activities. A wide range of tasks are undertaken in the context of supporting the person to maintain their mental and physical wellbeing, explore opportunities and work towards agreed outcomes that are important to, and for, the person. As a growing organisation, Mercy Connect provides a range of services to support adults, children and older people with a disability to live independently and get actively involved in their community. Governed by Mercy Ministry Companions, we are a not-for-profit Catholic organisation, delivering programs currently funded by government agencies and the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS).
