Disability Support Worker Tweed Heads Area We are seeking a caring and compassionate individual with a passion to deliver excellent care and support to people with disability and high needs .Candidates must be warm and friendly, with a strong work ethic, a positive attitude. The successful candidate will be self-motivated, well-organized, and reliable, able to work both independently and part or a team. Proven experience in working with clients with disability, in either paid or voluntary capacity is desirable for this role. What you'll be doing but not limited to: Personal hygiene facilitation, mobility support, shopping tasks, food preparation, housework tasks, and the coordination of social events. Accompanying and unaccompanied shopping for clients Accompanying clients to parks, beaches, cafes etc. Assist in the safe lifting, transferring, repositioning and movement of clients Accompanying clients to doctor and physio appointments Observe, monitor, and record client's physical and emotional well-being, and promptly report any changes to senior staff.
