We currently have an exciting position in the Northern Beaches region for a passionate individual who is dedicated to supporting our clients through compassionate care and empowerment.
Your duties will include:
Supporting clients to develop and maintain independence, and advocate for the clients and their individual needs.
Delivering personalised support by assisting clients at mealtimes, personal care, administering medication, manual handling using a variety of equipment and aids.
Transporting clients in our wheelchair accessible vans and pool cars.
Monitoring the well-being of clients and reporting on their progress.
Being part of a fun and dynamic team.
Requirements:
Flexibility to work on a 24/7 rotating roster; you will be required to work across morning, afternoon and occasional active night shifts, split shifts including weekend and public holiday shifts.
Experience supporting customers with intellectual disability, high physical support needs and medical / health needs.
A current NSW Driver's License (P2 minimum).
Local to Northern Beaches.
Highly perceptive and initiative person.
Knowledge of Auslan.
