We are excited to announce a newly created position for a Disability Services Manager to join our team at CatholicCare and help us deliver exceptional, client-centred services.About the RoleThe Disability Services Manager leads and manages the Disability Services Team in alignment with CatholicCare's mission to provide high-quality, client-centred services. This role is responsible for overseeing the delivery of services under the NDIS, NIISQ and QCSS frameworks, ensuring that services are tailored to meet the individual needsof clients while promoting independence, dignity, and inclusion.The Disability Services Manager will oversee service coordination, operational planning, budgeting, staff development and compliance with all relevant legislationand standards. The role also plays a key part in fostering relationships with clients, families and external stakeholders to ensure services are consistently delivered with quality and compassion.The role is also accountable for the ongoing development of close-knit, multidisciplinary teams that can provide personalised, responsive care based on the community and client needs.What We're Looking ForMinimum of an Advanced Diploma in Community Sector Management, or a related field; plusExtensive experience (minimum 5 years) in disability services, including experience in a leadership role;Current Driver's license (QLD).Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Disability Services, Human Services, Health Science (Disability and Community Inclusion) or PsychologyIn addition to the above, you will need to demonstrate:Substantial level of understanding and practical application of the NDIS Practice Standards and the ability to ensure compliance;Demonstrated experience in leading a team and applying sound team management and development principles, including interpersonal skills to recruit, train, supervise and develop staff, fostering a supportive and collaborative work environment;High level of communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with clients, staff, and external stakeholders;Demonstrated financial acumen with a sound understanding of budgeting and financial management, to ensure cost-efficient operations and compliance with financial policies and regulations;Demonstrated ability to foster a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement;High level of experience in the use of applicable corporate systems, including the Microsoft Office Suite, to complete required administrative tasks.All offers of employment are subject to the satisfactory completion of relevant screening and background checks, including an Australian Federal Police check, an NDIS disability worker screening check, and attainment of a Blue Card for working with children, prior to commencement.CatholicCare (formerly CentacareCQ) is a large, vibrant and well-respected, not-for-profit organisation providing services across the Catholic Diocese of Rockhampton.
