DISABILITY LIAISON OFFICERFull Time PositionBallarat / Ballan LocationGenerous Salary Packaging BenefitsWe are seeking a stand-out Disability Liaison Officer to ensure customer-centric work practices are in place. This role will facilitate the provision of effective customer engagement and administrative support from initial intake prior to handover to the service delivery team. Responsibilities include facilitating access to NDIS services, developing care plans with participants, and completing assessment paperwork for service access and annual review as well as building networks and promoting community engagement.What you bringCertificate IV in Disability or equivalentFirst Aid level 2 Certificate and NDIS CheckRostering and scheduling experience in aged and disability service environment.Proactive attitude and ability to multitask between phones, emails, and rostering.Demonstrated experience in a client-focused position with a commitment to providing superior customer service to the most important members of the team – our clients and our staff.A logical mind with an ability to see the bigger picture - rostering is a puzzle waiting to be solved.Strong administrative and organisational skills with a high level of attention to detail.Strong IT skills including Microsoft Office suite.Knowledge of Carelink+, CHSP, HACC guidelines, and My Aged Care Portal.What we offer:Training and Development opportunities.Not for profit Salary Packaging benefitsCareer Progression Opportunities.Board Scholarships and Employee Awards.Employee Assistance Program.mecwacare is a leading not-for-profit organisation that has been supporting Victorians for more than 65+ years.
