A Disability Employment Consultant's Day Involves:Supporting and understanding the clients' barriers and working together to develop employment goals and plans to support the client to achieve these goalsCreating and sourcing employment opportunities for your clientsSupporting and helping your clients identify their skills, abilities, and secure sustainable employmentProviding and delivering a high level of customer service to our clients, employers, and stakeholdersBuilding rapport and supporting our clients to increase their capacity to secure suitable employment through training and other support servicesCreating, tailoring, and implementing a partnered job plan with the client to support them through the employment journey and into sustainable employmentBuilding sustainable and long-lasting relationships with local employers, registered training organisations, and community organisationsExplaining to employers the benefits and supports in hiring someone with a barrier/disabilityReviewing the clients' job searching efforts and ensuring they align with their developed employment goalsCollaborating with your teammatesMaintaining accurate records for clientsAbout You:Passionate about working with our clients and local community networksExcellent communication skills and positive attitudeExperience working in a performance-driven environmentBenefits of Being Part of the uLaunch Team:Personal and professional development opportunitiesRewarding and supportive cultureBirthday leave and diversity leaveFrequent training and support to excel in the roleFree Employee Assistance ProgramReward and recognition benefits programMinimum Requirements:Eligibility to work in AustraliaA current driver's licence and a comprehensively insured vehicleWilling to complete a Criminal History CheckAble to obtain a Working with Children CheckAbility to work Monday to Friday - 8:30am to 5:00pmWho We Are:uLaunch partners with people living with disability, illness, and injury to co-create new pathways to fulfilling and meaningful employment.
