Lead and support our Operations Department alongside our Operations Director, in a rapidly growing organisation that provides high quality residential OOHC and NDIS services across Melbourne.This role will be on a full time basis.Benefits of joining Ability AssistHybrid working arrangements available.Flexible working hours available – family friendly environment.Annual leave loading.An inclusive and supportive working environment.Ongoing Training and Development.Key responsibilities includeProvide practice and operational leadership across all out of home care and NDIS services, ensuring a high level of practice quality and compliance.Ensure service delivery in out of home care programs is child-focused, trauma-informed and aligned to best practice organisational, community and cultural expectations.Support, mentor and guide your teams in striving for excellence by building capability and fostering an inclusive, diverse culture conducive to growth and change.Work collaboratively with other corporate support areas to ensure that resources are being managed effectively and within budget.Continually review processes and procedures and implement continuous improvement frameworks to create efficiencies and quality assurance.Continually identify, assess, control and monitor organisational risk and ensure that the organisation adheres to the relevant legislation and regulations applicable to its operating environment.About youRelevant Tertiary Qualifications (e.g., Youth Work, Human Services, Allied Health, Social Work, Psychology).Leadership experience in the residential OOHC and NDIS service delivery context.Strong relationship building skills, particularly with key internal and external stakeholders, funders, and other partners.An understanding of government policies and processes relevant to residential OOHC and NDIS services.Knowledge of current issues in the delivery of residential OOHC and NDIS services.A high level of cultural competency and ability to deliver culturally appropriate, safe, and inclusive services to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people whilst ensuring a connection to community, country, and culture.To be successful you will haveEvidence of relevant qualifications.Right to Work in Australia.Employee Working with Children Check.Victorian Drivers Licence.NDIS Worker Screening Check.Current First Aid & CPR Certificate (or willingness to obtain).About Ability AssistAbility Assist is a highly experienced, OOHC and NDIS service provider in Melbourne.
