Our client is looking for dedicated individuals to work in various service units that provide education and community access to people with intellectual, physical, social, and emotional disabilities.Key Responsibilities:The role involves assessing clients' needs and developing, planning, and implementing educational, training, and support programs.Conducting client interviews to understand the nature and extent of their difficulties.Regularly monitoring and reporting on client progress.Referring clients to appropriate agencies for additional support.Evaluating community needs and resources in areas like health, welfare, housing, employment, training, and other services.Liaising with community groups, welfare agencies, government entities, and private businesses to address community issues and increase awareness of available resources and services.Providing support to families, education, and care for children and disabled individuals in adult service units, group housing, and government institutions.Supervising individuals on probation and parole.Assisting young people in addressing their social, emotional, and financial issues.Preparing funding proposals and reports for government bodies and other agencies.Qualifications and Experience Required:Skills equivalent to an AQF Associate Degree, Advanced Diploma, or Diploma (ANZSCO Skill Level 2) are necessary.Three years of relevant experience may be accepted in place of the formal qualifications listed.In some instances, additional relevant experience and/or on-the-job training may be required alongside formal qualifications.An overall IELTS band score of 5.0 or equivalent is required, with a minimum of 4.5 in each test component.Exemptions from the English language proficiency requirement are available for "exempt applicants."
