We are an NDIS registered business that delivers specialist therapy services to participants under their NDIS plan, including Positive Behaviour Support Early Intervention. We deliver throughout Perth Metro and parts of regional Western Australia.
We are currently seeking a Disabilities Services Officer to join our team working in a Positive Behaviour Support Practitioner role. This position will be based in Canning Vale, Perth with travel as required.

Working from home for agreed times can be discussed. However, a good face-to-face team & support environment is not negotiable.
Qualifications & experience: Relevant Qualification in an Allied Health background or Behavioural Science. Board certified Behaviour Analyst or over 2 years experience in delivering Positive Behaviour Support. Demonstrated experience working with complex needs and challenging behaviours. Working with Children's card, National police clearance and current driving license. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Knowledge of the NDIS Quality and Safeguard Commission. Tasks & responsibilities may include: Complete indirect and direct assessment including observations and data collection and collate the data for the development of behaviour support plans and functional behavioural assessment. Support NDIS participants with disability, their carers, family and significant others. Provide training and support in interventions and strategies outlined in the behaviour support plans. Work within the community to collaborate with outside services and providers. Support the participant to meet their person-centered goals. Ability to work within a multidisciplinary team. Ability to lead a team and support other core practitioners. We are looking for a flexible worker with experience in the Disability sector/previous experience with working with persons with disabilities (PWD). The position offers a range of different job opportunities, including day shifts, passive night shifts, cleaning shifts, cooking shifts, medication administration, and general day-to-day assistance to our clients living with mental illness, psychosocial disabilities, and additional complex needs.

Job Description: Assure Ability is seeking an enthusiastic and compassionate NDIS Day Program Coordinator to oversee and manage our day programs for individuals with disabilities. As the Day Program Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in designing, implementing, and evaluating programs that enhance participants' daily lives, promote independence, and foster community engagement.
Key Responsibilities: Plan, coordinate, and oversee day programs for NDIS participants. Work closely with participants, families, and support staff to develop personalized plans. Ensure compliance with NDIS standards, policies, and procedures. Coordinate staff rosters, manage resources, and maintain accurate program documentation. Monitor and evaluate program outcomes. Facilitate community access and activities. Handle participant concerns and provide solutions. Requirements: Experience working with individuals with disabilities, preferably in an NDIS environment. Strong understanding of NDIS guidelines and support plans. Proven leadership and team management skills. Excellent communication and organizational abilities. Compassionate, patient, and able to adapt to changing participant needs. Ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining attention to detail. First Aid and CPR certification is an advantage.
