The Director's Secretary is responsible for providing, developing and maintaining an efficient, effective, ethical and confidential administrative and secretarial support service to the Clinical Director
This position operates with a high degree of independence in performing the duties while maintaining open channels of communication between all staff within the department and other members of multidisciplinary teams.

In this role you will:Provide, develop and maintaining an efficient, effective, ethical and confidential administrative and secretarial support service to the Clinical Director.Provide accurate and timely information and assistance to clients and staff within the Health Service and external agencies.Make administrative decisions relating to the interpretation of Department policies and procedures.About you:
To be successful in this role you must have:Knowledge of Medical Officer Awards and employment conditions.Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and act as an effective member of a multidisciplinary team to provide an effective customer focused service.Demonstrated problem solving skills, and the ability to perform duties on a day-to-day basis in the absence of decision makers. The ability to establish work priorities and meet deadlines when work priorities conflict.High level interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate with officers at all levels within a large organisation, the general public and external agencies with the possession of tact, diplomacy and discretion.What we offer:
