Directorate Security Advisor
Full-time PermanentDetails: The Community Services Directorate (CSD) is seeking a high-performing leader to implement the Protective Security Framework for CSD and lead the multi-disciplinary team who are responsible for Security, Facilities, Fleet and Sustainability.
The Directorate Security Advisor will have highly developed leadership skills, preferably within a policy environment, excellent communication, strategic thinking, and collaboration skills. They will lead and deliver several security-related projects and associated policies, as well as coordinating and advising on other security matters for the directorate.
The Directorate Security Advisor will be responsible for the management of CSD's asset management and facility operations, including accommodation, planned and reactive maintenance, asset management, utilities and contracts and leasing for the CDS property portfolio. Additionally, the Directorate Security Advisor will oversee CSD's building security and fleet management, and maintain CSD's sustainability requirements, including sustainable energy reducing objectives and emission reduction targets.
The Directorate Security Advisor will foster working relationships across the ACT Public Sector on a wide range of matters.

Eligibility/ Other Requirements: An understanding of the security policy and governance arrangements of the ACT Government is desirable.
