About the Role This is a five year fixed term SES 1 role The Director, Workforce Insights & Strategy will be responsible for leading the Workforce Insights & Strategy Branch. This pivotal position is crucial in aligning workforce capabilities, ensuring that the Department meets current and future demands efficiently and effectively within a strategic context. In this role, you will lead the development and implementation of a Workforce Strategy and Plan, ensuring that the Department has the right people in the right place at the right time. Your expertise will be essential in aligning strategic frameworks and models. Additionally, you will focus on forecasting and delivering actionable workforce insights that inform strategic decision-making and drive people investments, enhancing both strategic and tactical functions. You will be an exemplary stakeholder manager, who thinks strategically and translates strategic plans into operational actions, being creative and pragmatic at the same time.
