Director, Workforce Data And Analytics Full-Time Temporary

Details of the offer

The People and Capability Branch in the Chief Minister, Treasury and Economic Development Directorate (CMTEDD) is looking for a client-focused, motivated and results-oriented individual with a passion for using data to drive informed decision making.
You will lead a small team of technical data and analytics professionals within the Workforce Data and Analytics team. We are seeking a person who will utilise the team's expertise to provide a client-focussed narrative to enable CMTEDD managers and executives to understand their workforce and make evidence-based decisions.
The successful candidate will also be required to lead several small-medium projects focused on innovative improvements to business processes, including digitisation and automation of manual processes.
Demonstrated ability to understand the ACTPS operating environment, including our clients, available data sources and systems, is essential.
Due to the need to collaborate with a wide range of stakeholders, well-developed interpersonal skills and the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships will be important.
We are committed to creating an inclusive environment where people with diverse thoughts, lived experience, and perspectives can thrive and contribute their unique talents to the ACTPS and ACT community. We encourage Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people, people with disability, people with culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds, veterans, younger and older workers, and people with diverse genders, sexes and sexualities to apply.
Notes: This is a temporary position available immediately for a period of four months, with the possibility of extension up to six months. This position is limited to ACT government employees only. Selection may be based on application and referee reports only. Opportunities for flexible working may include hybrid working, a combination of working from home, designated office-based and FlexiSpace working locations across the ACT, part-time hours, job-sharing, flexible start, and finish times. Where part-time hours are considered, the full-time salary noted above will be pro-rata.
How to Apply: Please submit a written response of no more than one page addressing the 'What You Require' section of the Position Description along with a current curriculum vitae and the contact details of two referees (one of which should be your current manager/supervisor).
