Director, Workforce Data and Analytics
Full-time TemporaryDetails: The People and Capability Branch in the Chief Minister, Treasury and Economic Development Directorate (CMTEDD) is looking for a client-focused, motivated and results-oriented individual with a passion for using data to drive informed decision making.
You will lead a small team of technical data and analytics professionals within the Workforce Data and Analytics team. We are seeking a candidate who will utilize the team's expertise to provide a client-focused narrative to enable CMTEDD managers and executives to understand their workforce and make evidence-based decisions.
The successful candidate will also be required to lead several small-medium projects focused on innovative improvements to business processes, including digitization and automation of manual processes.
Demonstrated ability to understand the ACTPS operating environment, including our clients, available data sources and systems is essential.
Due to the need to collaborate with a wide range of stakeholders, well-developed interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships will be important.

Notes: This position is available immediately for a period of four months, with the possibility of extension up to six months. This position is limited to ACT government employees only. Selection may be based on application and referee reports only. Opportunities for flexible working may include hybrid working, being a combination of working from home, designated office-based and FlexiSpace working locations across the ACT, part-time hours, job-sharing, flexible start, and finish times. Where part-time hours are considered, the full-time salary noted above will be pro-rata.
