Job Overview: The Climate Change, Energy and Water Division ensures the ACT remains a national and global leader in addressing climate change, promoting sustainable energy supply and use, and managing water wisely.
We are creating our climate-ready and water-secure city.
Key Responsibilities: Develop and coordinate the implementation of ACT water policies and strategies.Liaise with Icon Water and key ACT agencies, the Commonwealth Government, and community and regional stakeholders.Responsible for statutory reporting requirements on water management reforms, actions, and outcomes.Provide secretarial support to the ACT and Region Catchment Management Coordination Group.Engage in inter-jurisdictional fora related to water policy and management.Commitment to Diversity: We are committed to creating an inclusive environment where people with diverse thoughts, lived experience, and perspectives can thrive and contribute their unique talents to the ACTPS and ACT community.
