Our open plan indoor environment celebrates the Kindy's history through the thoughtful arrangement of beautiful, nature-inspired, quality learning resources which the children use in a variety of experiences for creative arts, dramatic play, music, project work and quiet learning and reflection.
With energy, creativity and care, you'll take a hands-on approach to teaching where you will lead a team of passionate people to deliver a quality educational program for children in our play-based learning environment. As an approachable leader for families, children and your team, you'll play an integral role in the overall operations and management of the centre to encourage and nurture children's learning and development while building great relationships with our families and the wider community.
This is a 6 month maternity leave cover position. You'll be needed to start at the centre on the 16th of January 2025 and finish up on the 27th of June 2025. What you'll bring To thrive and succeed in this role, you will either have:
A Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood or equivalent (recognised by ACECQA as an early childhood teaching qualification) or a Bachelor of Primary Teaching with an approved diploma-level qualification. First Aid, CPR and Asthma and Anaphylaxis certification. Valid Blue Card and current Police Check (issued within the last three months) or willing to obtain these.
