Director, Systems and Business Support
Full-time Temporary with a Possibility of PermanencyDetails: As the Director, Systems and Business Support you will support the Senior Director (Business Partner) for Chief Minister, Treasury and Economic Development (CMTEDD), Justice and Community Safety (JACS) and Public Authorities and Territory Owned Corporations (PATOCS) ICT Team. This position plays a significant role in supporting the Business Partner with strategic engagements across business units in CMTEDD, and PATOCS.
As the Director you will lead and coordinate various digital functions and project activities to support the Digital Strategic Initiatives within CMTEDD and PATOCS agencies and provides clear strategic advice on life cycle management of business applications systems, associated interfaces, and other essential ICT services.
In addition to supporting the discovery & design work and implementation of tier1 and 2 projects, the Director will directly oversee a significant program of small-scale (tier3) projects and complex service requests across CMTEDD and PATOCS.

Eligibility/Other Requirements:Provide strategic leadership with a focus on planning, execution, and outcomes. This includes effective resource planning, management of digital work programs, and provision of digital services and operations.Lead the staff members in collaborating with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to ensure alignment and engagement throughout implementation of agencies ICT initiatives.Maintain strong relationships with stakeholders including senior executives and management, operational and technical stakeholders, vendors, users and counterparts from other agencies, directorates, and jurisdictions.Manage the delivery of simple ICT project delivery/management activities to the Directorate through the delivery of small-scale projects and complex service requests.Note: This is a temporary position available immediately for a period of up to 12 months with the possibility of extension and/or permanency. A Merit Pool will be established from this selection process and will be used to fill vacancies over the next 12 months. Outcome may be based on application, curriculum vitae and referee check alone.
