About the Role
We seek an exceptional Director to lead our Sydney-based Cost Management team.
As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for driving business growth, developing high-performing teams, and delivering outstanding results on complex projects.
Key Responsibilities: Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement the strategic direction for the Cost Management team, aligning with our overall business objectives.Team Management: Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of cost management professionals.Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, proactively identifying and addressing their needs.Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities, developing and implementing effective business development strategies.Financial Performance: Oversee the financial performance of the Cost Management team, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control.Technical Expertise: Provide expert advice and guidance on complex cost management issues, including risk analysis, value engineering, and cost control strategies.Innovation: Encourage innovation and continuous improvement within the team, exploring new technologies and approaches to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.Quality Assurance: Ensure the delivery of high-quality work, adhering to industry best practices and standards.Requirements: A minimum of 15 years' experience in a Quantity Surveying, Estimating, or Cost Planning role.A proven track record of success in leading and managing high-performing teams.Strong technical skills and expertise in cost management principles, methodologies, and software (CostX proficiency is a must).Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.A passion for delivering exceptional client service and exceeding expectations.A commitment to fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.What We Offer: A competitive salary package: $200,000 - $250,000 per annum, depending on experience.Opportunities for professional development and career advancement.A supportive and inclusive work culture.The chance to work on challenging and rewarding projects with a talented team of professionals.If you are a highly motivated and experienced Director seeking a leadership role with a bright future, we encourage you to apply.
