Due to a growing project workload, they are looking to employ an additional Director to assist in taking the firm through its next period of growth.With a diverse range of clients in both the public and private sector, they are involved in a range of projects, ranging from medium-scale buildings through to $500 million + landmark projects.Employed in a senior leadership role, you will manage a team of engineers and drafters to successfully deliver projects across a range of sectors. Additionally, you will take responsibility for managing key relationships and proactively seek out new business in order to meet company growth objectives.ResponsibilitiesLeadership of the business unit to achieve agreed company objectivesManagement and further development of key client relationshipsAttracting, engaging and leading staff to further grow a high-performing teamTechnical and commercial management of projects under your controlPreparation and delivery of project proposalsQualificationsA recognised degree in engineeringCPEng and professional engineer registrationCirca 12 years + experience working in a consulting environmentExtensive experience in the design and analysis of medium to large scale commercial, residential, institutional and industrial buildingsA sound knowledge of Australian Building Standards and CodesProven people management skillsPrevious experience in client management and business developmentExcellent verbal and written communication skillsBase salary is negotiable and commensurate with experience. In addition to your salary, you will also be eligible for both bonus and profit share.
