About the role
The Director Strategic Partnerships is responsible for leading and managing the strategic and business operations of the Strategic Partnerships Directorate, in conjunction with its managers and in accordance with ethical, legal, and organisational frameworks. This role provides research, business development, tender and contract management support services for the Training Services' business units. Additionally, the role leads the supply of commercial services support and the provision of support strategies, in order to provide a more extensive and proactive employer service.
The position leads the development of strategic relationships relating to Workforce Development and the Higher Education Sector to identify and develop strategic initiatives that align to industry trends and innovation. The role works proactively to identify opportunities to develop and grow local and national collaborations, supporting the Training Services Executive Directors and Portfolio Managers to meet business objectives.
The Director Strategic Partnerships provides leadership and strategic direction to ensure Jobs and Skills centres meets contractual requirements, government policy expectations and statutory requirements.

Other Conditions and Eligibility
Eligibility for employment is subject to obtaining a satisfactory Department of Education Criminal Clearance.
