As the Director of Strategic Communications, you will lead and manage a multi-disciplinary team responsible for developing and implementing integrated communication, media, and stakeholder engagement strategies that promote the Office of Industrial Relations' (OIR) vision and key priorities.
Your leadership will play a pivotal role in ensuring that OIR's goals are communicated effectively, both internally and externally, and you will be instrumental in shaping the organisation's reputation and profile.
About the Role: In this senior role, you will provide expert communication advice to the Minister's office, Director-General, Deputy Director-General, the Executive Leadership Team, senior management, and other key stakeholders.
You will also oversee strategic corporate communication, media and issues management, and stakeholder relations.
Your role is both strategic and operational, requiring you to blend high-level strategic planning with hands-on implementation and guidance.

You will oversee the monitoring of team outputs and the evaluation of communication campaigns, ensuring compliance with risk management protocols.Media and Issues Management: Play a senior role in managing media and reputational risks that may affect OIR.
