6 months contract role with possible extension.Attractive hourly pay rate up to $103.24/hour + Super.Flexible work arrangement (WFH + Canberra office). Remote candidates will also be considered.Immediate start!PURPOSE OF THE ROLE:You will be familiar with procurement processes and enjoy working in partnership with others to deliver procurement processes from documentation development through to contract execution.Key AccountabilitiesDeliver high quality, strategic, accurate, responsive advice and support for the procurement and supply of goods and services.Lead the development of frameworks and standard operating procedures for the delivery of "Managed" Services to Government clients, ensuring the expectations of the Accreditation and reform program is upheld, while achieving consistency of approach, delivery of quality advice and engagement.Provide strong leadership and expert advice to clients on a range of complex procurement projects to deliver quality project outcomes on time and on budget, and lead by example to build a positive culture of collaboration and customer service, supporting team members in adopting this approach to their procurement practice and work behaviours.Effectively apply procurement and contracting principles, as well as legal interpretation and application, legislative rules, policy and governance.Apply appropriate delivery approaches to enable multiple concurrent projects and/or changing requirements to be effectively managed and delivered within agreed deadlines. This includes being able to forecast/identify/prioritise issues and implement practical solutions, including knowing when to escalate.Produce and assure high quality documentation across the procurement lifecycle and reporting information as required, such as briefing material, communication artefacts, status updates etc.ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:Strong staff management skills including ability to motivate and build staff capability and effectively undertake performance management, as well as making a positive contribution as a team member themselves.Highly developed communication skills (including written and oral communication skills, liaison, presentation, influencing, negotiation and representational skills).A strong ability to understand and develop documentation for and manage complex procurements.
