The Role Reporting directly to the General Manager and part of a dynamic Executive Team, the Director of Service & Project Delivery will:
Lead the strategic initiatives and project management that meet community needs and exceed expectations.Drive a strong focus on delivering best value services and leading workforce cultural change across two key depot sites: Moss Vale Depot (Open Spaces/Infrastructure) and Mittagong Depot (Water services, including sewer).Use advanced technology to integrate asset management plans with service delivery, aligning them with our long-term financial plans to ensure sustainability and efficiency.Manage a large and complex works program with an estimated budget of approximately $105 million for the 2024/2025 Financial Year, providing ample opportunity to make a significant impact.The Person We are looking for an enthusiastic and adept professional who can:
Effectively manage and inspire a diverse team to achieve excellence in service delivery.Navigate the complexities of local government with a strategic and innovative approach.Build and maintain strong relationships with all stakeholders, advocating for community needs and council goals.Demonstrate a deep commitment to our values, leading by example to embed these principles within the Service & Project Delivery directorate.The Package This role will be employed under the Standard Contract of Employment - Senior Staff and will be for a period of 4 years. Regular performance reviews will be undertaken during this period.
