We provide value-added services and leverage expertise, data-driven insights, and execution.The Advisors Client Services group has five specializations: Strategy & Transformation, Performance Analytics, Business Experimentation, Marketing, and Program Management. Our Strategy & Transformation consultants lead clients through impactful decision-making as they tackle strategic, tactical, operational, and transformational business challenges. They apply a broad set of problem-solving techniques to improve the client's overall strategy, performance, and operations.Roles and ResponsibilitiesResponsible for delivering top quality work as a Senior Managing Consultant (Acquiring SME) in the Advisors & Consulting Services team, with focus on building the Merchant Acquiring business.Function as a Subject Matter Expert for consulting projects across the Australasia markets.Operate in an SME capacity for multiple consecutive engagements.Support Business Development team in the scoping of new engagement opportunities.Collaboratively pitch proposals to new prospective client opportunities with Business Development.Rigorously identify issues covering client problems in the projects managed.Generate key hypotheses and structure work at the project level.Develop effective working relationships with mid- to senior-level client management.Synthesize answers into clear, sound recommendations.Identify creative and useful additional answers required and suggest new paradigms for recommendations.Assess client agenda, internal culture and change readiness.Create effective, impactful and quality assured storylines and slides at the project level.Manage a project team consisting of consultants.Participate in training and developing team members, as requested.Proactively contribute in the development of the Global Acceptance Practice (knowledge sharing, training, collateral development).All About YouCore Consulting Skills:Analytics & InsightsCommunications & PresenceTeam Contribution & Engagement ManagementClient Management:Selling SkillsKnowledge ManagementMulti-Cultural SkillsHigh Performance CultureEducation, Qualifications and Experience:Education Needed:Undergraduate degree requiredMBA or relevant post graduate degree recommendedExperience and Skills Needed:Experience in Merchant Acquiring at a financial institution, fintech or Payment Facilitator or in a consulting role.Proven background in the following Acquiring domains:Acquiring value chainEcosystem participantsOperating modelsSegmentation and industry vertical specialismProcessing infrastructure (technical and operational)Commercial driversRisk & ComplianceDigital innovationExcellent verbal and written communication skills - be comfortable in leading an executive level discussion.Ideally with experience in a consulting organization.Excellent analytical skills.Ability to manage a project team.Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, deadline environment.Advanced Word, Excel and PowerPoint skills.Attention to detail.Corporate Security ResponsibilityAll activities involving access to Mastercard assets, information, and networks comes with an inherent risk to the organization and, therefore, it is expected that every person working for, or on behalf of, Mastercard is responsible for information security and must:Abide by Mastercard's security policies and practices;Ensure the confidentiality and integrity of the information being accessed;Report any suspected information security violation or breach;Complete all periodic mandatory security trainings in accordance with Mastercard's guidelines.
