Details: The Director, Royal Commission Response Team is responsible for leading a small team to respond to and implement recommendations from the Royal Commission into Institutional Responses to Child Sexual Abuse and the Royal Commission into Violence, Abuse, Neglect and Exploitation of People with Disability. The Royal Commission Response Team sits within the Strategic Policy Branch which is responsible for the development and implementation of strategic reforms that deliver better outcomes for children and young people in the ACT.
The ideal candidate for this role, has high-level management and leadership skills, including goal setting, planning, and resource and people management.
Eligibility/Other requirements: This position does not require a pre-employment medical.This position does not require a Working with Vulnerable People Check.Notes: This is a temporary position available immediately to 31 January 2025. The Strategic Policy branch is currently working in a mixed-mode of at home and at the ACT Whole-Of-Government building at 220 London Circuit. The officer will be expected to work flexibly across sites.
