Management - Universities, Other (Education & Training)Full time, 5-year fixed term appointmentSenior ContractCasuarina CampusProvide leadership for the Office of Research and Innovation (ORI) at Charles Darwin University (CDU)About the PositionAs the Director Research and Innovation, you will provide strategic leadership to the Office of Research and Innovation (ORI) at CDU, supporting the Deputy Vice Chancellor, Research and Innovation (DVCRI) to identify and develop research opportunities, and promote innovation and commercialisation across CDU's institutes, centres, and campuses. CDU is a research intensive University, undergoing significant growth in its research portfolio and Higher Degree by Research student cohort. You will contribute to the University's strategic management of Research Block Grants, operationalisation of initiatives that will grow the portfolio and improve research outcomes across the University, strategic planning and mobilisation of resources that support research objectives.About YouTo be successful, you will require:Relevant tertiary education qualifications with demonstrated experience undertaking postgraduate research.Demonstrated experience in senior leadership within a University Research office or equivalent.
