The NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission is seeking an EL2 Director Project Management Reporting & Delivery, ePMO to join the Planning, Performance and Delivery Branch.

About the Planning, Performance and Delivery Branch The Planning, Performance and Delivery (PPD) Branch is responsible for supporting the strategic agenda of the Commission Executive, including through the delivery of planning, performance reporting and project delivery.
The Branch collaborates with other areas of the Commission on whole-of-Commission initiatives and works to establish coherent and consistent approaches to the development, co-ordination, delivery, reporting and evaluation of activities.

The Branch comprises four teams: The Delivery Office – (transitioning to ePMO) Planning, Performance and Governance Parliamentary Services Commissioner Executive Support Team The key duties of the position include: Reporting to the ePMO lead, Planning Performance & Delivery, the EL2 Director Project Management Reporting & Delivery will support a range of activities across the Commission, including the following key duties:
Work closely with the ePMO lead to ensure the successful rollout of the newly developed Project Management, Change and Reporting Frameworks across the Commission.
Ensure consistent and timely reporting across all projects, maintaining data accuracy and clarity.
Collaborate with Project Sponsors and Project Leads to ensure alignment of project management activities with defined methodologies and processes.
Ensure project decision making is aligned to defined project decision rights (i.e.
gating approval, change requests, funding release).
Ensure project teams coordinate key expectations along the entire project lifecycle.
Maintain transparent view of portfolio performance.
Provide expert SME advice in leading and implementing changes required to achieve ePMO goals and objectives across the work area and contribute to the development of the enterprise view of project management.
Our ideal candidate will have a positive contemporary attitude to people with disability and have the following capabilities: An understanding of the NDIS Quality and Safeguarding Framework and the NDIS Act or the ability to quickly acquire that understanding.
Expert and demonstrated understanding of project management lifecycles and frameworks.
Project management implementation and delivery experience, with demonstrated experience in applying structured Project Management methodologies and activities to drive and embed change.
Excellent business writing and communication skills with demonstrated experience delivering high quality verbal and written advice to diverse audiences on complex and sensitive issues.
Excellent organisational skills.
Strong stakeholder engagement skills, including the ability to communicate effectively, negotiate and influence outcomes, and build strong professional relationships.
