About the Victorian Infrastructure Delivery Authority
The Victorian Infrastructure Delivery Authority (VIDA) is a specialist project delivery organisation, responsible for delivering the biggest transport and health infrastructure program in Victorian history. This includes more than 200 projects such as the Metro Tunnel, North East Link, West Gate Tunnel, removing level crossings, new and upgraded hospitals in Footscray, Frankston and Warrnambool, and specialist programs such as the early parenting centres expansion and upgrade program.
About VHBA The Victorian Health Building Authority (VHBA) is responsible for the rollout of the Victorian Government's multi-billion-dollar health capital projects. We're delivering world-class health facilities across Victoria including new public hospitals and emergency care, community health services, ambulance branches, residential aged care and mental health facilities. VHBA also provides technical support across engineering, property, asset management and environmental sustainability disciplines.
The Opportunity: The Director of Project Controls at VHBA leads the development and implementation of project management systems, cost control, risk assessment, and strategic planning for major health infrastructure projects across Victoria. This role ensures efficient project delivery by providing expert oversight and advice to VHBA's Executive Leadership and project teams, aligning project controls to meet scope, budget, and timelines. The Director also fosters a culture of innovation, high performance, and continuous improvement within the Project Controls team and collaborates with VIDA counterparts to drive strategic initiatives that enhance infrastructure outcomes across the state.
